Belarus: PLATONOV continues as a champion

Pavel PLATONOV clinched his third consecutive title in Belarus in the championships which was held in Minsk. The 2013 women`s winner Alexandra PRIVALOVA returned on the top after last year`s defeat in the semi-final.

Pavel PLATONOV beat in the final Kirill BARABANOV after seven games and many upside downs. Reigning champion was faced with 3-1 lead of his opponent but managed to win in tense 7th set (14:12).

Second time in a row Mariya KUCHUK and Alina ORLOVSKA are women`s doubles champions. Kirill BARABANOV and Alexandar HANIN became a men`s doubles winner.

Men`s SinglesPavel PLATONOV – Dmitrij FAREYTOROV 4:0 (11:6 11:4 11:5 14:12) Kirill BARABANOV – Anton SOPELEV 4:0 (11:9 11:4 11:6 11:9). Final: Pavel PLATONOV – Kirill BARABANOV 4:3 (6:11 11:5 11:7 6:11 8:11 11:4 14:12).

Women`s Singles: Semi-final: Alexandra PRIVALOVA – Anna PATEEVA 4:3 (7:11 9:11 9:11 11:4 14:12 11:6 11:3) Darya TRIGOLOS – Alina NIKITCHENKO 4:3 (8:11 6:11 5:11 11:7 11:8 11:9 11:2). Final: Alexandra PRIVALOVA – Darya TRIGOLOS 4:2 (11:6 7:11 11:1 7:11 11:6 11:4).

Men`s Doubles: Semi-final: Pavel PLATONOV/Ilya BARBOLIN – Dmitriy CHUMAKOV/Anton SOPELEV 3:0 (11:5 11:8 13:11) Kirill BARABANOV Alexandar HANIN – Pavle DOVNAROVICH – Valentin GENIN 3:2 (8:11 12:10 11:5 9:11 11:5). Final: Kirill BARABANOV Alexandar HANIN – Pavel PLATONOV/Ilya BARBOLIN 3:1 (11:9 12:10 7:11 11:8).
