Asian adversaries halted progress of Europeans in the Round of 16 at the Wisdom 2014 World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Shanghai.

QIU Dang of Germany lost his duel against XUE Fei of China Anton KALLBERG of Sweden failed to find the answer against LIANG Jingkun of China and finally Filip ZELJKO of Croatia lost against WANG Chuqin of China.

In Junior Girls Singles Event in the same stage Ekaterina GUSEVA of Russia suffered by the hands of CHEN Xingtong of China Germany’s Nina MITTELHAM lost against Mima ITO of Japan and WANG Manyu of China proved to strong for Lea RAKOVAC of Croatia.

In penultimate stage will play seven Chinese and one player from Japan. In Boys category ZHU Chaohui will meet CHEN Ke whilst in other semi final WANG Manyu will meet HE Zhuojia all from China. In Girls Event Japan’s Yuto MURAMATSU will meet XUE Fei and LIU Dingshuo will play against YU Ziyang.
