At the recent meeting held in Ostrava (CZE) during the European Youth Championships, the ETTU Executive Board assigned the next two editions of Europe Youth Top-12 event. Regarding 2013, due to occurred problems concerning the candidature of Sarajevo  (BIH), ETTU took note of Italian Table Tennis Associations’ availability to host the event and definitively accepted Terni as the event’s location.

2013 Europe Youth Top-12 is scheduled on September 20th to 22nd. Within few days, once the August rankings will be released, the ETTU shall announce the list of 40 invited players. Mid-Italy city of Terni already hosted the biggest Youth event in 2008 (European Youth Championships). “We’re particularly glad to welcome this event few weeks after the European Championships where Italy got excellent results, to start from the Junior Boys Teams’ gold medal”, Italian TT Association President Franco SCIANNIMANICO said.

ETTU also allocated the 2014 event  to the French Association. Next year the Europe Youth Top-10  will take place in Tours, the capital of the Indre-et-Loire department, standing on the lower reaches of the river Loire, between Orléans and the Atlantic coast.
