In the quarterfinal of the Men’s Teams Event at the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan China will meet Germany. Also in the match for the medal Spain will play against Taipei, France against Russia and Belgium against Japan.

Germany’s Alexander FLEMMING, Hermann MUEHLBACH, Lennart Boris WEHKING beat Egypt, Chile and Hong Kong on their way to the quarters. Spain’s Guillermo MARTINEZ BOTELLA, Endika DIEZ ALADRO, Carlos FRANCO MEDINA, Joan MOREGO VALLS-JOVE beat Russia and Sweden. France with Antoine HACHARD, Romain LORENTZ, Benjamin BROSSIER, Thomas LE BRETON overcame Oman, Australia and Vietnam. Russia’s Kirill SKACHKOV, Alexander SHIBAEV, Mikhail PAYKOV, Viacheslav BUROV, Viacheslav KRIVOSHEEV succeeded against Sweden, Spain and Latvia. Belgium’s Robin DEVOS, Cedric NUYTINCK, Ludovic BIERNY on their way to the quarters beat Mongolia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Chile.

In Women’s Teams Event China will play against Korea, Belarus against Taipei, Russia against Czech Republic and France against Japan.

Belarus with Aleksandra PRIVALOVA, Elena DUBKOVA, Alina ARLOUSKAYA, Katsiaryna BARAVOK, Ina KARAHODZINA overcame Mongolia and Ukraine, lost against Korea and Japan.

Russia’s Yana NOSKOVA, Elena TROSHNEVA, Polina MIKHAILOVA, Antonina SAVELYEVA, Valentina SABITOVA succeeded against Estonia, Germany, Romania, Hong Kong and Ukraine. Czech Republi with Iveta VACENOVSKA, Hana MATELOVA, Lenka HARABASZOVA, Martina SMISTIKOVA overcame Chile, macau, New Zealand and Switzerland. They lost only one encounter against Taipei. French representatives Stephanie LOEUILLETTE, Laura GASNIER, Emmanuelle LENNON, Alice ABBAT beat South Africa, Switzerland and Chile. China prevailed in group against them.
