For a second time in the row Abdel-Kader SALIFOU of France clinched the title at the ITTF World Tour Morocco Open. This time he succeeded in Rabat in third tournament of Euro Africa Challenge Series this season. 

In the final after seven games SALIFOU overcame Belgium’s Robin DEVOS. In semi final French player beat his compatriot Enzo ANGLES in six games, whilst DEVOS beat Michel MARTINEZ of France by same margin.

Maria BYKOVA succeded in all Russias final in Women’s Singles Event. Irina EMRAKOVA suffered in six games. In penultimate stage Maria overcame Pooja SAHASRABUDHE of India and ERMAKOVA beat Sarah DE NUTTE of Luxembourg in straight games.

However, Sarah will not leave Morocco unhappy, or without medal. She clinched gold in Under 21 Women’s Singles events. It is her second title in short period, after she won the Women’s Singles title at the Games of the Small States of Europe. She defeated the host nation’s Islam MOUKAFIH in four straight games.

At the final hurdle, Cédric NUYTINCK of belgium overcame colleague Julien INDEHERBERG in six games. At the semi-final stage he accounted for Enzo ANGLES of France, the no.1 seed, in a close seven games encounter.
