After an exciting and action-packed season it has come down to this. Just two more games are left to play in the Champions League and ETTU Cup to decide who will be crowned 2012 champions! ETTU TV powered by LAOLA1.tv will be broadcasting both the men and women’s Champions League finals as well as the men’s ETTU Cup final LIVE and FREE vie LIVE-Stream as well as on demand after the events.

ETTU Champions League Final Men – UMMC – Orenburg | 05.05.2012 13:00 CET

It is an all-Russian final in the men’s Champions League for the first time ever and it further shows the outstanding development which has taken place over recent years in the country. These two teams know each other inside out and as a result it is almost impossible to predict the outcome of the match. Both teams have played outstanding table tennis throughout the tournament but Orenburg may well have the edge in this final. They tasted defeat at this stage last season and the experience will have made them stronger. This is UMMC’s first final and the nerves might be a deciding factor part in this opening leg.

ETTU Cup Final Men – Angers – Borussia Düsseldorf | 05.05.2012 17:30 CET

ETTU Cup debutants Angers will face German power-house Borussia Düsseldorf in the ETTU Cup final and the French team have their work cut out for them if they want to win the title. Timo BOLL and his team are still stinging from their Champions League exit and they will be extremely motivated to at least win some silverware this season. The Three-time ETTU Cup winners have the necessary experience and talent to do so, but as we have seen all season, you should never write-off an underdog.

ETTU Champions League Final Women – Berlin – Ströck | 04.05.2012 19.30 CET

This match is a repeat of last season’s ETTU cup quarter-final tie. Back then it was the team from Berlin which progressed after an impressive win. The Austrian’s will be looking to get revenge in this final and it is fair to say that Ströck are the favourites for the match as well given their current run of form. The defeat in Berlin was their first and last in their short history, and they currently boast an impressive record of 26 wins to 1 loss since September 2010. It is essential for Berlin that they perform well in front of their home crowd, and with the likes of Irene Ivancan and Georgina POTA in their team they have every chance of winning the match.
