In 4 matches he wins all four 4-0 and conceding just 100 points in 16 sets (6 25 pts/set). The matador from Li? collects his 22th crown in individual competition from 1985. The title holder Yannick VOSTES was injured and was withdrawn from the competition.

In the women competition the Belgian leader Karen OPDENCAMP wins her 6th title.
