Tatiana GARNOVA and Tiago ABIODUN crowned national champions in Portugal

Tatiana GARNOVA (GDCS Juncal) and Tiago ABIODUN (Sporting CP) become the senior champions for the first time in their careers after the conclusion of the senior individual JOGOS SANTA CASA National Championship held at the Municipal Pavilion of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Tiago Abiodun a 15-year-old player who made his debut for the senior national team this Wednesday made history again by winning the senior national title. The young Sporting player beat the Portuguese-Frenchman Antoine DOYEN by 4-0 in the final. ABIODUN already had in his curriculum the titles of two-time national champion of Under10 Under 12 and Under 15 and vice-champion of Under 19.

José MAGALHÃES (GDCS Juncal) and João NEVES (AR Novelense) completed the podium.

Tatiana GARNOVA competed for the first time in the National Championship and won the title beating young Inês MATOS (18 years old) 4-2 in the final.
