French clubs in superb shape in TAMANNEFTEGAS European Champions League Women

The matches in the Group B and C of the 2021/2022 TAMANNEFTEGAS European Champions League Women Stage 2 commenced today in France. In both Groups hosts Metz TT and TT Saint Quentin showed top performance.

In Group B Metz needed only three matches to beat Spanish Girbau Vic TT. Dina MESHREF Adina DIACONU and Mariia TAILAKOVA easily prevailed against Sofia-Xuan ZHANG Tamolwan KHETKHUAN Charlotte CAREY with only Dina losing one game in the process.

SKST PLUS Hodonin overcame Novi Sad as it was expected but still Tijana JOKIC managed to beat the odds and overcame Natalia PARTYKA. Sakura MORI and Tetyana BILENKO showed no mercy against Reka BEZEG and Aneta MAKSUTI.

In Group C four matches were on program today. TT Saint Quentin made a great step toward quarterfinal. They won both their encounters. Polina MIKHAYLOVA Sarah DE NUTTE and Aurore LE MANSEC beat Austria’s TTC NanoTech Villach whilst Daniela MONTEIRO-DODEAN joined MIKHAYLOVA and DE NUTTE to secure the win over Ucam Cartagena. Spanish club also lost to another French representative ETIVAL Clairefontaine ASRTT.

It was first of two wins that ETIVAL Clairefontaine ASRTT achieved today. In the last match of the day Hana MATELOVA Marie MIGOT and Camelia IACOB overcame TTC NanoTech Villach. This promises great excitement tomorrow in all-French duel for the top position in the Group.
