TTCLM: Dimitrij OVTCHAROV secures win for Orenburg

2019/20 Table Tennis Champions League Men quarter-finals leg 1

 

Reigning TTCLM champion Fakel Gazprom Orenburg beat GV Hennebont 3:1 in the first quarter-final leg held in France tonight January 16th. Dimitrij OVTCHAROV was man of the match as he secured two points for his side improving his season’s win-loss record to 6-0.

 

Cedric NUYTINCK prevailed against Marcos FREITAS in straight games of the opener but guests responded with three victories in a row. OVTCHAROV beat Quentin ROBINOT to level the score at 1-1 CHUANG Chih-Yuan overcame Samuel WALKER while German faced hard task in the fourth encounter. NUYTINCK had an advantage after first three games against OVTCHAROV but guest reversed the score to secure victory for five-time TTCLM champion.
