Eight medals for team Europe at the World Cadet Challenge in Poland’s Władysławowo

At the 2019 World Cadet Challenge in Poland’s Władysławowo team of Europe won eight medals in teams and singles events. After gold and bronze in Girls and Boys Team events they added two more gold three silver and bronze medal.

 

In Cadet Boys Singles Darius MOVILEANU of Romania overcame JANG Seongil of Korea. Romania’s Iulian CHIRITA lost to Korea’s runner up in the semis. In Cadet Girls Romania’s Elena ZAHARIA lost to Japan’s Kaho AKAE 2-4.

 

In Doubles CHIRITA partnering Singapore’s QUEK Yong Izaac won also silver. They failed on last hurdle against Sora MATSHUSHIMA of Japan and Navid SHAMS of IRI. Winning duo beat Simon BELIK of Czech Republic and Denis IZUMRUDOV of Russia in semis.

 

 

Vlada VORONINA of Russia and ZAHARIA won silver in Doubles. Title went to Japan’s AKAE and Korea’s LEE Yeonhui. Poland’s Anna BRZYSKA and Zuzanna WIELGOS won bronze. In Mixed Doubles QUEK Yong Izaac and ZAHARIA clinched gold whilst Hana ARAPOVIC of Croatia and Mateusz ZALEWSKI of Poland won silver.
