The European Championships Team Events Stage 1 draw on Saturday 18th in Stockholm

Seeding will be according to 2017 European Championships final ranking

 

The European Championships Team Events Stage 1 draw will take place in Stockholm (Eriksdalshallen venue of the Swedish Open) on Saturday 18th November. Seeding will be according to 2017 European Championships final ranking.

 

There will be 6 men’s A groups and 6 women’s A groups.

 

The 18 Associations to be drawn into the A groups are:

 

Men

Austria Belgium Belarus Croatia Denmark Greece Hungary Luxembourg Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden Turkey Ukraine.

 

Women

Austria Azerbaijan Belarus Croatia Czech Republic Germany Hungary Italy Luxembourg Netherlands Poland Portugal Russia Slovenia Spain Sweden Switzerland Ukraine.

 

In addition to the 2017 title holder (Men – Germany Women – Romania) and the host Association (France) the 6 A group winners and 6 A group runners up will proceed directly to the final stage of the Championships in September 2019. The 6 position 3 teams will proceed to stage 2 to compete for the remaining places in the final stage.

 

There will be 6 men’s B groups and 5 women’s B groups.

 

The Associations to be drawn into the B groups are:

 

Men

Azerbaijan Bosnia Herzegovina Bulgaria Cyprus Czech Republic England Estonia Finland Iceland Ireland Israel Italy Kosovo Lithuania Montenegro Netherlands Norway San Marino Scotland Serbia Switzerland.

 

Women

Belgium Bosnia Herzegovina Bulgaria Denmark England Estonia Finland Greece Iceland Israel Kosovo Lithuania Norway Scotland Serbia Slovakia Turkey.

 

6 Men’s B group winners and 6 Men’s B group runners up will proceed to stage 2.

5 Women’s B group winners and 5 Women’s B group runners up will proceed to stage 2.
