TTCLM final 2nd leg: Mission impossible for Borussia

This Friday (May 12th 14:00 CET live on LAOLA1.tv) Orenburg hosts Borussia with 3:0 advantage from the first game

Returning final game of the 2016/17 Table Tennis Champions League Men will take place this Friday in Russia (May 12th 14:00 CET live on LAOLA1.tv) as Fakel Gazprom Orenburg host Borussia Dusseldorf. Bearing in mind 1st leg and 3:0 (9:3) victory of Russian side it`s obvious that German champion and ten times TTCLM winner faces “mission impossible”. Borussia`s manager Andreas PREUSS stressed that his side has just one percent of chances…

“Congratulation to Orenburg it was a strong performance we will try our best next Friday but our chances to win the title are only one percent…”

Opening game was decisive for the such big win for three times TTCLM winner and actual No.1 seed as Dimitrij OVTCHAROV overcame his team mate from the German National Team Timo BOLL after full five games. In the next two encounters Jun MIZUTANI and Vladimir SAMSONOV defeated Stefan FEGERL and Kristian KARLSSON respectively.

“Little bit disappointed about the 0:3. First match was very unfortunate. After we had no chance. Orenburg was too strong and now it is very hard to play in Orenburg. But we will try our best” stated Borussia`s coach Danny HEISTER.

Valery SALABAEV coach of the top seeded club of 2016/17 TTCLM motivates his players to win one more game in spite of having big advantage against No. 2 seed.

“We are very pleased with the result of the first final match in Germany. Each player showed his best. We do not forget for a second that the winner is determined by the sum of two matches. We are again in the mood to fight and we will prepare very seriously for the return match in Orenburg” said SALABAEV.
