SVS STROCK celebrates 100^th match in its history with a big smile defeating Metz TT 3:1 in the battle for one of two top spots in Group A of Women’s European Champions League. Austrian club now have the same 3-2 score like no.1 seed Fenerbahce and the 2012 WECL winner Berlin Eastside so it will be very exciting in last round on December 20^th when play Metz – Fenerbahce Berlin – STROCK. Just French side lost the chance for the semi final.

Austrians had a harder job than in first meeting at France. Two individual European champions opened the fight at Werner Schlager Academy: actual LI Fen and the 2009 champion WU Jiaduo. Swede won in five sets despite he was two sets down. The last fifth game was close until 7:7 and from that moment LI took four points in a row.

Daniela DODEAN beat well experienced Yunli SCHREINER who was the hero of Metz`s victory against Berlin Eastside on November 1st. First three out of four sets were close but Romanian had a clear way in the last one.

Young Laura GASNIER surprised well experienced Petra LOVAS in four sets. Third one was very interesting as guest needed six set balls to reach the set.

The ultimate clash brought a clear win of LI Fen against Yunli SCHREINER.

French club now has no chance even to continue in ETTU Cup whilst SVS STROCK – founded just three years ago at Schwechat – hopes that after December 20th can celebrate its new WECL semis.
