Austrian SVS STROCK is preparing for two big challenges in upcoming month but in same time goes the rebuilding for the 2014/2015 season. Two European rising stars Dora MADARASZ (Hungary/21) and Lea RAKOVAC (Croatia/18) signed for the 2013/14 ETTU Cup finalist (STROCK`s first game against Lyssois Lille will be held on May 17th). Both are already a members of their national teams and also in the Team World Cup (28 April) in Tokyo at the start and both will compete in 2014/15 Women’s European Champions League either

“It is my great pleasure to go to SVS STRÖCK and there to take advantage of the training with top players at the Werner Schlager Academy. So I hope I can realize my big dream of starting at Olympic Games 2016 in Rio” said Dora MADARASZ who made a nice progress in Budaorsi 2i SC and she is currently no. 52 of the European ranking and no. 34 of the Under-21 World Ranking.

Lea RAKOVAC continues a well known tradition of Zagreb’s table tennis. She reached at the 2013 World Junior Championships as the best European player the quarterfinals and is number 5 in the Under-18 European rankings. She is looking forward to play in Schwechat`s side: SVS Ströck one of the absolute top clubs in Europe and it is an honor to be part of this team. I will work hard to give the club a lot of good results”.

SVS president Martin SOROS believes that with MADARASZ RAKOVAC and the 16-year-old Thai woman Tamolwan KHETKUEN – now three players in the squad of SVS STRÖCK – are belonging to the biggest talents in the world outside of China. With MADARASZ and RAKOVAC the “Purchasing Program” of SVS STRÖCK is not yet complete. In the next few days further reinforcements will follow. As of now the ÖTTV team player LI Qiangbing will no longer be in the team of SVS STRÖCK. The young mom is leaving the club after four seasons.
