After title in Czech Cup Hodonin welcomes Berlin with optimism

In Czech Republic SKST PLUS Hodonin will host TTC Berlin eastside in the opening leg of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Champions League Women. Most important issue in recent past the health of players is first question at the list.

SKST PLUS Hodonin awaits the duel with complete line up.

“All the players are healthy and hopefully they will be well prepared for the match ” stated SKST PLUS Hodonin Coach Jaroslav MIKESKA.

Club showed good performance recently.

“Currently we are in the first place in the National League after the first half of the season. Also in mid-December we have won Czech cup so we are quite satisfied with our season so far ” said MIKESKA.

Reigning champions Germany’s TTC Berlin eastside is aiming the sixth crown. No doubt Hododnin is facing tough challenge.

“I think last time we played each other it was two or three years back in the quarter finals of the Champions League. It was very close encounter but I’d say that time was Berlin little bit better and went through to the semis. We expect as always very tough matches against Berlin as they are the reigning champion of this competition. Of course they are favorites of our quarter-finals so we have nothing to lose and we will give our best and will see the result ” concluded Coach Jaroslav MIKESKA.
