Wins for KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg and Linz AG Froschberg

Poland’s club with the dream-team line up KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg beat Novi Sad in the opening leg of the Champions League Women quarterfinal played in Serbia.

In furious style guests did not leave the chance to Serbian champion. Annamaria ERDELYI lost to YANG Xiaoxin (4:11 2:11 9:11) Tijana JOKIC suffered by the hands of HAN Ying (6:11 9:11 3:11) and Aneta MAKSUTI lost to Elizabeta SAMARA (9:11 6:11 5:11).

Opposite to Novi Sad in France we saw big drama. Linz AG Froschberg beat Etival Clairefontaine ASRTT after five matches. Suthasini SAWETTABUT overcame Hana MATELOVA (11:5 11:3 11:8) to give guests good start. SHAO Jieni leveled with the win over Sofia POLCANOVA in five games (4:11 8:11 11:8 11:7 6:3). Marie MIGOT added another point to French side by beating Margarita BALTUSHYTE (11:7 3:11 11:6 7:11 6:5). MATELOVA lost to POLCANOVA (11:6 11:4 11:8) and SHAO lost to SAWETTABUT (11:5 11:13 11:8 7:11 5:6).

All four opening legs are finish. In other two matches Saint-Quentin TT beat UCAM Cartagena TM 3:2 TTC Berlin eastside overcame Metz TT 3:2 .
