UCAM Cartagena TM moved to the semis

Spanish UCAM Cartagena TM beat Saint-Quentin TT in the second leg of the Championships League women to secure the place in the semifinal. In Spain they won 3:1 after they lost the opening leg 2:3.

Tonight Maria XIAO overcame Olga MIKHAYLOVA in the opening match (11:13 12:10 11;3 11:5) and Silvia ERDELY beat Camille LUTZ after five games (10:12 11:6 10;12 11:7 6:2) before Sarah DE NUTTE won the only match for the french side (11:8 11:7 11:9). In the last match XIAO beat LUTZ (11:9 11:5 11:2).

“We knew it would be a hard match after the first one finished 3-2 but we had hope we also knew that it was posible to win this ” said Maria XIAO.

Tomorrow KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg will meet Novi Sad and Metz will meet TTC Berlin eastside.
