GALONJA: This final is the historic result for us

MUSEO DE LA ALMENDRA FRANCISCO MORALES has reached the final of the Europe Cup Women. They secured an away win in Romania against CSM Constanta after their success in the opening leg.

The drama that unfolded in the opening leg was almost repeated. In Spain CSM Constanta recovered from a 2-0 deficit to level the match before the Spanish club withstood their comeback to secure the victory.

Today once again MUSEO DE LA ALMENDRA FRANCISCO MORALES took a comfortable 2-0 lead with wins from Maria GALONJA and Meng JIAQI against sisters Elena ZAHARIA and Alina MUSAT before Bianca MEI ROSU defeated Patricia SANTOS.

However Meng JIAQI prevented a dramatic finish to the match by beating Elena ZAHARIA.

“We are in the final! I cannot find the words to describe how happy we are. This is a historic win for us ” said GALONJA.
